Maricopa County Animal Care & Control’s (MCACC) No-Cost Spay/Neuter Voucher Program is just 18 months old and it is already the nation’s largest and most effective public spay/neuter program of its kind! By providing a FREE spay/neuter option to the public MCACC is ensuring that residents of Maricopa County have no excuse but to get their animals fixed. As we work to save the homeless animals of today, we must be working to reduce our overpopulation crisis for the animals of tomorrow. According to animal welfare and animal control professionals across the nation, the ONLY humane and effective way for a community to address its overpopulation crisis is by offering low-cost, convenient and inclusive spay/neuter programs. To participate in this program, simply fill out the program application and mail it to: MCACC Big Fix Program There is NOT an income requirement to participate in this program. The ONLY qualification for the Voucher program is that you are a resident of Maricopa County, AZ. About 10-14 days after you mail in your application you should receive a large light BLUE postcard in mail. This is your voucher! On the voucher will be a list of 22 participating veterinary clinics that are located all over Maricopa County. Simply call the veterinary clinic nearest and/or most conveniently located for you to schedule your surgery appointment. Be sure to BRING THE VOUCHER WITH YOU TO THE SURGERY APPOINTMENT!
