Surrendering a Pet
We have very limited space for animal intake. Each application is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but the majority of the animals we bring in to our care are the ones that are in most danger of death; those already within the shelter system. All of the local Shelters and Rescue agencies are working 110 percent to help as many animals as possible.
Many agencies, including HALO, will post photos and write-ups of the animals in your care that need a new home. If you are willing to have your animal spayed or neutered, we will post it on our Website for you. You can receive low-cost help for Spaying and Neutering by calling the Spay Neuter Hotline at (602) 265-SPAY.
If you are no longer able to keep your pet(s), you must completely fill out our Cat Surrender Form and/or Dog Surrender Form so we can best direct you.
Please be patient, as it may take up to 72 hours to receive a response after you have filled out the form.
You may access the Dog Surrender Form or Cat Surrender Form by clicking on the buttons below |
